Holly, Therapy/Facility Dog

About Holly

Welcome Holly, our new Therapy/Facility Dog!  She recently joined Katie Kuhn in her practice at Summit and comes along with her to work each day in the office.  Holly is named after Lance Corporal Holly A. Charette, who was enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where she delivered mail to her fellow troops, and served during Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Lance Corporal Charette was well known for her positive attitude toward her duties and served with honor.

Holly is a Golden Retriever who was trained at Hero Dogs Inc., a non-profit organization that raises and trains dogs to work as service animals with disabled veterans or first responders. While in training, Holly transitioned to a therapy dog, and works with Katie to provide a warm, inviting, and caring atmosphere in the office.  She enjoys cuddling on the couch and getting lots of love from clients, while helping them feel safe and cared for.  We are so fortunate to have Holly as a therapy dog in our practice...she has been a great addition!!  Katie and Holly will complete their final assessments with Hero Dogs Inc. in October, 2022.
