Heidi Schreiber-Pan, Ph.D., LCPC, is a successful psychotherapist, the clinical director of Chesapeake Mental Health Collaborative, founder of the Center for Nature Informed Therapy, a sought-after international speaker and trainer. She is also the author of the popular book Taming the Anxious Mind – A Guidebook to Relieve Stress & Anxiety.

Heidi lectures, consults, and trains professionals in the mental health sector and in corporate and public settings on anxiety, stress, resilience and nature, neuroscience, and occupational burnout. Her work focuses on how to connect to nature to improve and sustain our mental well-being.

Treatment Approach
Working collaboratively with her clients, Dr. Schreiber-Pan integrates mindfulness practices, cognitive-behavioral treatment methods and fundamental tenets of Existential Theory. Drawn from her extensive research in the field of nature-based counseling, she often includes nature as a healing component of treatment. Furthermore, part of her focus during her doctoral program at Loyola University, Maryland included spiritually-integrative counseling techniques which allow the client to draw from one's spirituality and/or religious background if so desired.
