Summit Counseling is proud to introduce Zoe Jack, a highly experienced therapist who brings a holistic and nature-informed approach to mental health. Zoe's journey in therapy is deeply rooted in her belief in the power of nature and the human potential for change, and she is eager to share this passion with our clients.

Zoe earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland and brings over six years of experience to her role. Her diverse professional background spans from the deserts of Utah, where she served as a wilderness therapy guide, to the forests of Vermont, where she worked as a behavior interventionist for individuals exposed to early trauma. These experiences have uniquely equipped Zoe to navigate various therapeutic landscapes with her clients.

In her current role as the Director of Operations for the Center for Nature Informed Therapy, Zoe continues to be a driving force in the field of nature-based therapeutic practices. She also serves as a lead instructor at the Center, helping to train the next generation of Nature Informed Therapists.

Zoe is a Registered Yoga Teacher, certified through the Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Maryland. Her yoga practice informs her therapeutic approach, bringing a sense of groundedness and mindfulness to each session.

Her therapeutic philosophy is influenced by Carl Rogers, and she is a strong proponent of the person-in-environment model. In her work, Zoe prioritizes client-centered reflection and insight to facilitate worthwhile change. She incorporates family and group dynamics into her work and integrates nature-based therapeutic methods, including mindfulness and grounding exercises, to assist clients in attuning to their most esteemed and whole self.

With Zoe's guidance, clients can expect to explore their relationship with themselves, their environments, and the natural world as a path to healing and personal growth.
