Cintra Harbold

Therapist

After several years of working in various nonprofit organizations with children, youth and adults, I received a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University in Baltimore and became a psychotherapist.

I firmly believe in the “Mind-Body” connection, so as a therapist I try to make each therapy session as engaging and interactive as possible. In addition to “talk” therapy, we might incorporate art, movement, role play, nature, or music into the session. The goal is to help you gain new insight into yourself and your life through creative and experiential counseling techniques. Whatever it takes for you to become your truest and best self always and in all ways!

Populations: Adults, some children age 7-11 yrs., LGBTQ+ community

About My Therapy

Are you trying to cope with a difficult situation or relationship, but the emotions sometimes feel overwhelming and you’re not sure what to do? Are you stressed about family issues, work, or your quality of life? Are you striving to do your best, but nothing is working? Are you being hard on yourself and believing that’s the only way to get motivated?

Maybe there has been a transition or change in your life recently and it’s thrown you off course. Old feelings of unworthiness and doubt are bubbling up again. You feel confused and have lost direction. Life doesn’t feel as good as it once did and you know it could be better.

You may have a history of trauma, depression, or anxiety and are thinking it would be beneficial to seek therapy for the first time... OR, you have been to therapy before and are looking for something different – something more than just “talk therapy.”

I can help you navigate this difficult time and these changes so that you can maximize your growth and happiness and land in an even better place.

As a therapist, I focus on experiential and expressive interventions and strive to make each therapy session as engaging and interactive as possible. Focusing on your needs and comfort level, in addition to talk therapy we might incorporate art, movement, role play, nature, or other activities into our time together – Finding resilience and helping you become your truest and best self!
